The biggest change in our annual Workplace Survey this year was a 17.9% increase in those who either agreed or strongly agreed with the statement, This organisation cares about the wellbeing of its people. While Council has rolled out a number of initiatives, which we believe have supported this outcome, the single biggest intervention was the WellBeing@Work programme.

We have seen a marked change in attitudes towards colleagues, especially around mental distress or illness. A lot of the ‘taboo’ around mental illness seems to have been removed. We’ve seen an increase in the use of Connectors and also general conversation around mental illness and wellbeing.
